Tenaha Tigers defeat the Woden Eagles in the Regional Quarterfinals 

Tenaha Tigers took on the Woden Eagles on Tuesday.  Tenaha took the early lead when the Tigers hit 3 pt shot. On the very next play, The Eagles answered with three points of their own. The first period was a hard fought battle that left both teams tied at 11 points to end the period.

Tenaha got on top in the second period, but Woden over took the Tigers with 6:05 remaining in the first half. They held that lead to the end of the first half, leading Tenaha 30-21 at halftime.

Both teams came out to play in the second half with the lead changing hands several times in the 3rd period. It was Woden that had the lead at the end of the 3rd. The score was Woden-41 Tenaha-37

The fourth period came down to the wire. The fan’s cheers were deafening. When the final buzzer sounded, Tenaha was the victor. The final score was Tenaha-56 Woden-53
